4.4 billion people around the world follow Abrahamic religions (Islam, Christianity, Judaism) [1]. Yet in history, we can't find the biblical figure anywhere. You can even find entire quora handle and a lot of experts who will opine that the figure was just a biblical tale with no historical truth [2].

It was really obvious a person so important in Bible, Quran has almost little to no archeological evidence [3][4]. Until we dig deep into history. If we can relate we shall see the figure still around us everywhere!!!!

The ancient Canaanite religion has a deity called “El” [5]. In Canaanite mythology, El builds a desert sanctuary with his children and his two wives, leading to speculation that at one point El was a desert god. An uncanny resemblance with the biblical Abraham who at last heads into the desert and had two wives. Coincidence huh!!!

This same character is believed to be Cronus in Greek Mythology [6]. Now the funny thing about greek myths is they are often full of modified and symbolic stories. They depict Cronus like below -

Painting by Peter Paul Rubens of Cronus devouring one of his children

Now the funny thing is the story is a parallel but oddly modified version of the biblical and quranic sacrifice story of Abraham and his son.

The same stories are associated with Kumarbi and Dagon in Hurrian and Ancient Syrians [7][8]. These figures are associated with urkesh and Bibel says Abraham was from Ur.

This figure’s wife is often regarded as “Ishara” (Istar Mesopotamian goddess). According to Muslim belief, Abraham had a wife named shara [9].

So Abraham is everywhere, but somehow we are missing him. O…. and one more thing we have a weekday called Saturday (based on Roman Saturn) [10]. Read all about Saturn you will see Abraham is even there :).
